Immunization Program

FOR BABIES, CHILDREN, BACK TO SCHOOL, AND COLLEGE

Immunizations can save lives and stop the spread of diseases. Children that are given immunizations on time can be protected from 15 diseases including: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Hib, Varicella (chickenpox), Rotavirus, Influenza, Meningitis, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV).  The Holmes County Health Department provides all recommended immunizations per the CDC guidelines for children under the age of 19.

FOR ADULTS:

Being updated on immunizations protects the individual and anyone who is not able to be completely immunized including infants and those with compromised immune systems.

All adults should be routinely vaccinated against:

• flu annually
• tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) every 10 years
• pertussis (whooping cough)
• shingles for adults age 50 and older
• pneumococcal pneumonia for adults 65 and older
• other vaccines may be needed based on age, occupation, lifestyle, health conditions, or travel (If you need immunizations for travel, please contact us a head of time for more information)

Cost

Immunizations may be available to children (up to age 19) for a $20 administration fee per vaccine. Adults are responsible for the cost of their vaccine plus the $20 administration fee per vaccine. At this time we accept cash or check.
